This concept was set up by two local birders from with in Suffolk, who have now provided this text - to - text information channel for many Suffolk birders using a mobile - to - mobile based platform, thanks to the support of it's members by the provision of accurate and up to date information as it happens.

Updated - 2007 bird of the year went to the Squacco Heron at Minsmere found by Adam Rowlands, with an award and presentation picture from the new Bird Of The Year pages. Happy hunting to one and all and best of luck in finding Suffolks bird of 2008!!
Updated - January 1st record score has been broken - 130 species. To see the some of the details and how the teams faired, just visit the BINS Cup 2008 pages to find out more and to enjoy a picture of the winning team being presented with the BINS Cup as well as links to the day report and tick list.....
Updated - A number of additional trip reports have recently been added, so have a great time reviewing them and using them to plan you next far flung trip!!
NEW - Just for fun - We have set up a page for members and others to enjoy the lighthearted and funnier side of birding, whether it be a funny picture, captions or even a silly story of a day out, just e-mail it in and we can add it to the pages and bring a laugh or two into what cn be a fairly serious hobby !!!
Updated - The sea watching pages are under review, and with your help, we can make 2008 a Suffolk sea watching year to remember!!
NEW - Mystery bird photo pages - email in your mystery birds to add to the pages and try to outfox visitors to the site with those mystery pics....Some interesting shots on there already for your perusal !

One of my own personal favourites, the Song Thrush, now slumps in at 25th, having been at the dizzy heights of 7th in 1979.
