Suffolk Fire Stations

Crew System: 1 pump, 1 FCV - retained

Turnout Area: Beccles is a medium sized market town on the Suffolk/Norfolk border. Hence, Beccles can be called into Norfolk quite often. Just recently Beccles have been one of the busier Retained Stations, but the FCV can be seen anywhere in the North East of the county.

Beccles are also known as the "Marsh Cowboys" as they seem to have a knack of pulling cows out of mud quite quickly.....

Location & Directions: From Lowestoft, take the A146 until you reach Worlingham roundabout, continue via the Beccles Bypass until the second roundabout by a golf course. Head for Beccles Town Centre, but when you see the railway alongside, turn right. Follow this road to the end then turn right again and the station is on your left. From the South / A12, take the A145 turning just after the Blythburgh marsh bit. Follow this road into Beccles and you will arrive at the Market Place. Follow the road North to the station
