Thanks Paul. I'm glad you enjoyed the report. Peru is certainly a stunning place and we shall probably return again next year but this time to the northern section.

Hi Sue,
Some interesting info on your site, and some good pics too. I reckon my partner and I may have met you and your partner a few years ago. We were at Sheringham watching Purple Sandpipers foraging on the concrete along the prom. We are now in the process of moving to the North Norfolk Coast, so maybe bump into you again sometime. Best wishes, Mali & Hazel, at Hastings.

Dear Sue,
Nice trip-report and photos, especially because we will fly next week to Adana for a birding trip to Eastern Turkey.
A small remark by one of the butterfly photos. I think that's it's not a Silver-washed Fritillary but a Cardinal, because of the red color on the underside of the fore-wing. Best regards, Peter Bussum, Netherlands

Hi Peter
Now that I have returned from my year away and have had some time, you are of course correct in that the photo of the fritillary is of course a Cardinal. Thank you for pointing this out. I hope you had a love time on your trip.
Best wishes
Sue

Hello. Very interesting site and you lead a very interesting discussion. There is a nice atmosphere here and I'm sure I will often read your posts.
From time to time I will also try to write something interesting.
