 Lawrence Walker formed Sudbury Mustangs Basketball Club in 19__. Since 19__ Lawrence Walker has developed the club for many years achieving things that not many other clubs in England can say they have achieved. The club has many tournament successes including the Sainsbury's Classic Cola Cup that still belongs to the club. The club boasts 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies from tournaments all around the world including Spain, Italy and Greece. Players like Leroy Manhertz, who was selected for the Newcastle Eagles, have all grown up at Sudbury Mustangs and were coached by Lawrence Walker. Mustangs have sent players to collages all around England in the club's past and will continue to do so in the club's future. Every year Suffolk has consisted of many Mustangs players, this year it holds three players; Jonny Perodi (PG), Ole Williams (PF) & Joe Lambert (C) all of which are 1st team Mustang Players. The club has gone through good times and bad times. The past 2 years have been a struggle due to lack of sponsors and funds meaning games have been a struggle as transport hasn't been available and so on. However the club is hoping to do well in the upcoming Greece tournament and hopes to bring back a trophy. Mustangs will continue to run through good and bad times and will continue to develop new players and form stronger teams. Sudbury Mustangs Basketball Club currently needs Donations & Sponsors! Last season we had a huge shortage of funds and were unable to do alot due to lack of transport and so on. This season we wish to be alot more succesful but to do so we need Donations & Sponsors. Please Click Here and read all the information and reasons how your money helps us. Info: No players this year have got into the East of England team because the whole thing is biassed and, overall, a joke. Jonny Perodi & Ole Williams both got into the starting 5 in Suffolk this year and both played strong games however neither got into the East of England team despite scouts saying that they names were out forward and that atleast 5 players from the Suffolk team should of got in. The East of England team mostly consists of Hartfordshire and Essex players which isn't much of a suprise.

Info: The France tournament has unfortunatly been CANCELLED due to no minibus driver. Sorry for any inconvinience this may have caused but there is nothing we can do about it. Info: A tournement is currently being scheduled and should take place within the next 2 months. There will hopefully be about 8 teams including Mustangs, Bulldogs and Greenstead Giants. It will be about £15 per team to pay for court hire costs and trophies WILL be up for grabs! Please see 'Fixtures' for more up-to-date info on this tournement.
