Sub Zero's Land

On a forgotten island lost within the Arctic Ocean, the wolves are at war. The legendary Snow Star Pack has ruled the land for countless moons; many a Wolven tale tells of their courage, their strength, and above all, their benevolence. There had always been peace and happiness under their reign ... until now. Dark times have fallen over the wolves. Humans are pushing further and further into the great forests of the north in their search for gold, leaving a path of destruction and suffering in their wake. Fear and hatred darkens the sky, until the sun shines no more. And a powerful new pack, led by the fierce Wipollo, has risen to challenge the Snow Star wolves.

"Times are changing!" Wipollo cries before his warriors. "And so the wolves must change! We cannot be led by soft-hearted weaklings anymore! We cannot afford to show mercy! Mercy is weakness, and if we show weakness in the face of these two-legged demons, then we'll all be destroyed! Join me, and I'll make the wolves invincible! We shall stand and fight, until nothing, not even Man, dares oppose us! We shall be the Dark Legion Pack!"

Now, as the Dark Legion Pack swells into a massive army, and threatens to kill any wolf that refuses to join them, one hero must defend his pack, his kingdom, and the balance of nature itself. He is called Sub Zero, the great white wolf, son of one of the greatest Wolven kings to have ever lived. He knows he must lead his followers into an age of light, for if the two warring packs don't destroy each other in their bloody battles, the humans will. But can Man and Wolf truly coexist? And can Dark Legion and Snow Star come together in the hour of crisis?

It's time to choose sides. Will you follow Sub Zero in his quest to restore peace to his realm, or will you aid Wipollo in usurping the Snow Star throne? The fate of the wolves hangs in the balance.

Created as a sequel to Sub Zero's Land, SZL II: The Next Generation takes place five years into the future after freedom is won back on SZL. The torches of leadership have been passed down, and now it's up to Tassen, Sub Zero's eldest son, to lead the wolves and defend them from the Evils. Meanwhile Wipollo has entrusted his own son, Storm, to follow in his footsteps and overthrow the Snow Star Pack. But little to these two warring sides know that an even greater enemy shall rise from the darkness to spread oppression and tyranny among the wolves...
