January 1, 2003- Happy New Year! sorry for the lack of updates, see LA GALAXY for news for a while. also sorry to say that I'm going to put this site on a hiatus for a while, no updates probably until April, when the season starts, if I continue with the site then. Of course if anyone wants to take over the site I'll gladly hand it over. Getting very busy with school and such, anyways, I don't need to list the reasons and excuses here, contact me if you're interested in taking over RSARS. Otherwise, we'll see if I continue in April. Thanks for hanging in there with me!

November 27, 2003- Happy Turkey Day all! MLS Cup 2003 was great, even on tv. Although I'm sure it was a ton better in person...San Jose beat Chicago (yay!) 4-2. Full report can be seen HERE.

November 19, 2003- very late with this, and I'm guessing everyone already knows, but LA lost the second leg of the semi's to San Jose, 2-5. The full summary can be viewed HERE. If you want tix to MLS Cup 2003 go to www.lagalaxy.com and there should be a box that pops up with info. Make sure to get your vote in for Goal of the Year!!!

November 1, 2003- the bad news: i forgot to update again. lol i'm not a very good webmistress am i? However, the good news: Today is the one year anniversary of Ryan Suarez: A Rising Star! Galaxy record is now 8-9-8 with 32 points. The next game for the Galaxy will be Saturday, September 27th, vs. Kansas City, at 7 pm.

September 3, 2003- Galaxy took on a struggling Dallas Burn Saturday night at the HDC and came out on top with a 2-1 win. Goals were scored by Alejandro Moreno in the 90th minute and in the 13th minute off a PK by Carlos Ruiz. This brings the Galaxy record to 7-7-8, and 29 points, and to 3rd place in the Western standings.

August 28, 2003- Ryan will be on Inside Soccer (Dallas soccer program) tonight from 7 pm to 8 pm (CT). The show can be heard at 1190 AM. Right now they seem to be having some technical difficulties with the phones and are considering having Ryan on a different night, as he's calling in from LA.

August 25, 2003- The Galaxy have played two games since my last update, and suffered a 1-0 loss to Chicago, but came back with a 2-1 win over New England. Galaxy record is now 6-7-8.

August 17, 2003- CARSON, CA (Saturday, August 16, 2003) - Despite a spectacular early goal from Galaxy newcomer, Forward Diego Serna, the Los Angeles Galaxy settled for a 1-1 tie vs. the MetroStars at The Home Depot Center on Saturday night. Forward John Wolyniec netted a late goal in the 86th minute as the MetroStars came from behind once again this season to tie the match. (story continued) The Galaxy are now 5-6-8, 23 points, and are in 4th in the Western standings. Next game for the Galaxy is @ Chicago.

August 15, 2003- Muy long time since last update, mostly due to my being out of town and starting school this past Monday. Anyways, new poll should be up sometime this week, pretty much the same as it is now, except with LA. Updates probably won't be as frequent now that summer's over for me, but I'll definitely get updates in on the weekends for the games.

July 15, 2003- LA Schedule is up in place of the Burn schedule. Once again, if you are looking for anything Burn related, please go Here.

July 13, 2003- Temporary layout. I was searching for a decent yellow/green one so it would sort of be LA colors, but I couldn't find one, so I settled for this. I'm going out of town on Saturday and won't be back in Dallas until August 10th, so it doesn't look as though I'm going to have a new layout up before I leave. I don't think I'm going to be able to update at all while I'm gone (I'll be out of the country) but I will do my best if I see an internet cafe or something. For any updates check out the Galaxy site.

July 11, 2003- Dallas and LA have completed a huge trade, which sends Ryan Suarez, Paul Broome, and Antonio 'Chivas' Martinez to LA. In return, the Burn receive Ezra Hendrickson, Gavin Glinton, and a first round draft pick. I thought about this for a while, and I decided I will continue on with this site. Granted, there'll be some color changes and little things like that, but for the most part this site will continue on as a Ryan fansite. I'll probably post some stuff about LA, just as I did about the Burn, but if you're looking for more Burn stuff, please check out Rhine Online, my site for Burn forward Bobby Rhine.

Suarez, Martinez, and Broome have already flown to Korea to join up with LA, who are competing in the Peace Cup. For more info on this check out the MLS article on the trade, and the LA Galaxy site.

July 5, 2003- Added some new photos, one from the LA game on June 28th, and the other from the DC game on July 2nd. Also, The MLS Disciplinary Committee has fined DC's Brandon Prideaux $250, and he has to serve a one-game suspension. Take that DC! Ha!

July 4, 2003- Happy 4th to all! The Burn suffered a 3-1 loss to DC United on Wednesday night at Dragon Stadium. DC's Brandon Prideaux narrowly avoided being booted out of the game (2 yellow cards), but the referee and the linesman didn't communicate properly and the ref gave the card to Namoff. Shortly after, DC scored twice more to make it 3-1. No doubt the Burn could have held it at 1-1 for a tie if Prideaux had been sent off.

July 1, 2003- Happy Canada Day, eh? Ryan's comments after the LA game:

"We sucked - there's not much else to it," admitted a frustrated Suarez after the game. "We couldn't finish our chances, and we sure had enough of them for a team that's on the road. I think we hit everything but the back of the net. They pretty much outplayed us. They found our weaknesses and pounded us there"

The article can be read here.

June 29, 2003- LA flattened the Burn 3-0 at the new Home Depot Center. Goals were scored by Sasha Victorine, Chris Albright, and Carlos Ruiz(PK). The next game for the Burn is this Wednesday, July 2nd, vs. DC United. Be there so you can yell at Dema along with the Inferno.

June 27, 2003- RSARS has a Forum now! Feel free to discuss whatever you'd like, but please keep it appropriate.

There is also a new poll up, the old poll's results can be found on the Archives page.

The Burn take on the LA Galaxy tomorrow night at the new Home Depot Center. The watching party is at Pugsley's Library, which is located at I-35 and Walnut Hill Ln. The game starts at 9, but be sure to get there early for good seats and food. The area where they are showing the game has one big screen and four smaller TV's all mounted up high so there isn't a bad view where ever you may sit.

****Past Updates can be found in the Archives section. Check 'em out if you're looking for something. If you're looking for something specific, email me and I'll see what I can do to help you.****

May 12, 2003- Ryan is still doing 'Inside Stuff' with 3rdDegree, new installment can be viewed HERE.

Also, the Burn 'reserves' (pretty much anyone who didn't play in the KC game)...played in a game against Lake Charles PDL team and won 3-0. I must have missed something, because somehow Matt Behncke ended up in goal, and Jeff Cassar was playing as a Forward. Hmm...
