Endurance Racers Galore!
It has been about two years since I created this website. Through it, I hope to share in my passion for not only diecasts, but also diecast photography, with fellow enthusiasts from around the world.
The real focus of
my diecast collecting is that of endurance race cars. As road circuit
racing (vs. ovals and off-road) is what captivates me in real life, I
had chosen to collect mostly from the following categories:
- Le Mans
- American Le Mans Series (ALMS)
- FIA GT
Given my passion
for photographing diecasts, much of the site looks like a giant
portfolio of my photos. As there are many other websites that
offer very good diecast reviews, I have chosen to keep my thoughts of
the diecasts fairly brief and to-the-point. In some ways, I
prefer to let my photos explain the qualities of the model.
Photo of the Week
I am excited to have found a model that looks almost identical to the Risi Competizione Ferrari F430 I saw at Mosport in 2006. The actual model represents the race livery at the 12 hour Sebring race which took place in March. The photo I took below is of the car at Mosport. As you can see, the front nose is all black as it was a piece borrowed from the sister #61 car.
