Thanks Himasha for your kind words.  I definitely do not mind youusing my photos as your PC wallpaper....in fact, I'm very flattered.

 

 

Sorryto hear about the damage on your UT McLaren.  Their hinges arenotoriously weak and prone to damage during shipping.  Unfortunately, Idon't have any good suggestions for fixing them.  I had tried using thetop part of the pin (which had a pinhead almost the same size as the"ball" on the end of the McLaren door hinge.  I used super-glue tofasten that piece to the door but it's really quite fragile still.

Hi Felix! I was just browsing through your site, enjoying those wonderfull pics and models. Seeing so many of your cars next to each other I realized how much you have inspired me in choosing the kinds of models to collect. I think your bad influence started with the JGTC skylines and the Viper GTS-R's. Your wonderfull pictures have also inspired me to keep experimenting and improving on my photography. At the time I first came to DX and saw your photo's my pics really where nothing compared to what they are now! So thanks for that and keep the soul alive! :P

Mate wondeful and colourful Site, perhaps my favourite cars here, I want {though I have 3 1/24th plastic kits to buld high tech} the Fabulous and unlucky Toyota Gt one TS020, and the Bentley Speed 8. I must build mine before I get the state of the art 1-18th diecast kit. good kit of the AUDI enclosed cockpit car, it may be doing it again !!!
I will be back looking at more of these mate

Hi Jared Fast: My recommendation is that you keep your eyes peeled on eBay as that #59 car does show up every now & then.

Hi Mclarenlll: Sorry, I'm not selling any of the cars from my collection. eBay is worth checking out for the UT F1 LM. They do pop up more frequently than you might think.

I stumbled onto your site doing some research on the '95 overall winner @ Lemans. Your site was only place I could obtain a clear picture of the winner McLaren GTR. I am missing that car as part of both my McLaren and Lemans winners diecast collection and hope to purchase the UT 1:18 version in the aftermarket. If you know someone willing to sell theirs I'm open to negotiate.. FYI, I collect diecast (predominantly 1:18 but strong 1:12, 1:24 and some 1:43) with almost 1,300 cars in my ever-growing collection. I too am an avid road course collector but in addition to Lemans (all classes) I collect F1, IRL, CHAMPCAR, WRC, drag racing as well as the history of the automobile. AS a former shooter I enjoyed your site and photography very much. BTW, if you haven't photographed Minichamps 1:12 version of McLaren F1 put it on your list.
