Set in a peaceful Australian town, this story chronicles the childhood adventures of Roobear the koala and his friends. The cast of characters includes kangaroos, sugar gliders, dingoes, kiwis, and of course, koalas – with a few penguin foreigners tossed into the mix. Everyone gets along well with Roobear, except for Walter and his kangaroo brothers, who like to tease and play pranks on the other children. Nevertheless, each day brings new excitement to the town, and Roobear is always eager to participate. Whether it's solving local mysteries, promoting conservation of the environment, or earning extra allowance money, Roobear and his young friends make big accomplishments and learn many valuable lessons. Adventures of the Little Koala first aired in Japan in 1984 under the name of Koala Boy Kokki. The animated series was dubbed into English and aired on Nickelodeon as part of the the Nick Jr. lineup from 1987-1993. It includes twenty-six full episodes, each of which is divided into two separate stories. Adventures of the Little Koala is always light and silly without being patronizing, and the characters are remarkably believable and loveable. This is a cartoon to be treasured by the young and young at heart.
Adventures of the Little Koala is available in a set
of four DVDs containing twenty-four episodes from the cartoon series and
includes a professional DVD case featuring quality custom cover art and an
episode list insert. Each DVD has menus with sound for easy selection of
episodes, which have been conveniently put into chronological order. Adventures
of the Little Koala is available for the very first time on DVD from this site
only. The quality is an eight to nine out of ten (see the screen capture links above for examples). This is the highest quality set available, and in fact, the only set available at this time. If you see another set like mine being sold elsewhere, you can bet they got it from me and made copies without permission. Make sure you get the authentic set right here from the source for guaranteed quality. I spent months capturing, digitally restoring, and converting the series to DVD format for the first time ever. This ensures quality every time you watch, unlike VHS tapes, which deteriorate over time. What the Set Includes:
This entire collection of four discs is available for just $25 US dollars plus shipping & handling (please read the instructions below). Orders within the US are almost always shipped next day after receiving payment, but I ship all orders at least every Tuesday and Friday (if I receive your payment on a Saturday for example, it will be shipped the following Tuesday at the latest).
International Customers:
I do NOT accept: Personal checks, Western Union money transfers, or other payment forms not listed above. I currently don't have the extra time in my schedule to accommodate the processing of additional payment forms; doing so would slow down the processing time of all orders. I apologize for any inconvenience.
All discs are checked to be in perfect working condition before they are shipped, but in the unlikely event that any disc is damaged during shipping or not functioning properly, you may return the faulty disc(s) and I will replace them for free. Due to the nature of these discs (in that they can be copied relatively easily) and the fact that the price you pay is for time and materials, I do not issue refunds, only replacements. This is why it is important to read all the information I have provided, and make sure that you understand what a DVD-R is and whether your DVD player will be able to play DVD-R before you order. If you do have any problems with the discs or need a replacement, I'm always available to help out and answer any questions you may have.
