The Children Need Us...  We Need Each Other.

        Welcome Back!!!  Since its Inception in March of 2004, Students As Parents has provided a vehicle for parents who attend the University of Maryland at College Park campus to come together for social and academic support.  According to the United States Census Bureau (2000), the rate of college enrollment by students who are parents increases by 60% each year.  That in itself is alarming.

     As you start out this Spring Semester 2006, think about this... the chance to associate yourself with other parents, find information regarding day care, socializing with others of like mind and responsibilities.  We are here for you.  This school semester Students As Parents will help sponsor several Campus-Wide events including the Second Look Fair this semester.
