This is the face of the future of film making... -P.S.S.
Zac Crosby is not only a good friend to the people at Stubby Legs Productions, he is also a fantastic film-maker himself. This is why, when Tom Scudder was in distress about some of the details of the 22 Foot Drop music video, Zac stepped up. Now they are working together in a collaborative effort along with 22 Foot Drop to make the video a reality. Stubby Legs Productions salutes Zac Crosby for his work ethic, his attention to detail, and his talent. He makes a proud temporary addition to the team. If you want to see some of Zac's work, go to www.youtube.com/zacatac. You'll be glad you did.
It's been a while since our last update, but with Tom up in Putney, Vermont, it's been hard getting things focused. I've been acting CEO while he's been gone hopefully doing what needs to be done and making all the contacts we need. I've been sending him a lot of e-mails, and one specifically sparked my attention. He's given me the OK to release. The script was given some major re-writes and all, yes ALL of the contributors are back on board. This has to be good news for a lot of people (including ourselves!). He's also just been in contact with me and given me the OK to release that there is a tentative plan to start working on a music video for the South-Eastern Mass band, our good friends, 22 Foot Drop. Check some of the earlier updates for links to their iTunes account and MySpace page. If you haven't heard of them already you'll be happy you just did. They'll be coming out with a new CD next year so keep your ears to the ground. Until then, LOTS of things happening on our end. Keep checking back for more updates.

Terrible, horrible, gut-wrenching news Stubby Fans. A few days ago, a few major contributors shit the bed on our latest production. This means, in short, that we will not have the resources to continue production at this time. Until these resources can be found somplace else, or the movie production process can be altered, everything will have to be put on hold. One option is creating a new script and starting fresh. While not scrapping the old project but merely putting it on a temporary hold.
Check back in the next few days for updates.
Hello, hello! Its contest time here at Stubby Legs Productions. Promotionally and common sensically, it seems that the people know what kind of movie they want more than movie producers on high. Thats why Stubby Legs Productions has decided to offer $400 (American) to anyone who can come up with a winning title for our latest movie venture*. To check out the plot go to the "Movies" page, here. If you come up with an idea, send your submission to stubbylegsproductions@gmail.com. We can't wait for your submissions. The winning title will be announced in 4 weeks time so get brainstorming so you can pick up an easy (relatively) $400! We'll see you at the movies!

Well sports fans, despite a valiant effort on our part, it looks like the script will not meet tomorrow's deadline. However, there is reason to celebrate! Confirmation has been made that Stubby Legs Productions has acquired the usage rights to several songs including songs by Baby Boy Da Prince, the Doors, and presenting music by 22 Foot Drop. 22 Foot Drop is a south-eastern Mass oriented band that originated at Tabor Academy. Since then they have produced and released one EP (entitled Anywhere But Here - EP) If you want to check out their music, head to their MySpace here. If you like their stuff you can get them off iTunes here. These guys are amazing, believe me.
We'll check in tomorrow but no promises. For now, Tom's put the Comic on hiatus until the new script deadline can be worked out (pending that it will not be met by tomorrow). Check back in tomorrow for more news.
Until next time!
Someone has been doing some publicity for Stubby Legs Productions™ and it hasn't been us! E-mails are coming in fron all over saying a friend of a friend told them about us. Keep this train moving and make sure to tell everyone you know about Stubby Legs Productions™!The first deadline for the script has come and like clockwork, was met! An all-nighter had to be pulled by a few parts but aside from that, the beast gave in with little struggle. The next deadline is the most important. It's coming up on July 12th. Remember, the script should be in its final draft form by July 26th so all of you that are interested in acting, please email us at stubbylegsproductions@gmail.com
Welcome to the new and vastly improved official website of Stubby Legs Productions™. What are the improvements you might ask? Well for one, the site is located at an actual URL instead of an extension of a "Free Webs" page. The other differences are subtle but there. Specifically the homepage and the "About Us" page. Today Tom made an update on God vs. Science. Also, the grind began with script writing for the new feature length film that Stubby Legs is producing. With everything going to plan and a good deal of luck, the final draft should be completed and on its way to auditioners by July 26th. That gives our writers about 1 month to put the finishing touches on the script we have now. Which reminds us, anyone who would like to get in contact with us about auditioning for the movie should contact the CEO of Stubby Legs Productions at stubbylegsproductions@gmail.com
Until next time!
