My name is David Strossmayer and I am originaly from Osijek,Croatia.

For the last 20 yrs I am living in Tel Aviv,Israel.I am graduated architect and computer technician by profession.

I am third generation of the pigeon's fanciers and started with birds when I was 5 yrs. old.My first birds were Segedin Highfliers,Budapest Highfliers and Serbian Highfliers.

My first Tipplers were from Matic Andrija from Zemun back to 1976.Since then I am with Tipplers although had one pause of about three yrs.when all of my birds were stolen in Israel back to 1998 and I was broken so therefore didn't want to start again not to be dissapointed.My strain of Tipplers were ROSHDOSHI or old type that flew between 12-16 hrs but very high.

At present there is almost no more of that strain not in Kikinda and not in Zemun who were once centres for this type of Tipplers.My new birds are from two fanciers Mr. Sljivac Tomislav from Osijek and Vojnovic Srba from Zemun!They are Lovatts and some old ROSHDOSHI blood mostly those from Srba.

They fly very high and lot of hours and landing deep in the night!My results here were some over 16 hrs which is Israeli record since there are not lot of fanciers who are breeding this birds here.I would be glad to answer to any of your queries of any kind to my E-mail: stross@bezeqint.net.
