Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year !!! I pray you and your families are doning well. Remember, to continue your exercises and eatting the right foods. Through the holidays we, tent to eat more fatty and sweet foods. We, as stroke survivors must stay on our diet plans, to stay healthy and wise and still have a blessed holiday season. For those of us, who live alone, a turkey breast,or small game hen would be appropriate. Sweet potatoes, baked, green beans, angel food cake, just to name a few. If we, choose to go out, read, carefully the menu and ask questions, about choices, you can have to eat.
Walking, I'm told, is the best exercise. Try after eatting, take a walk with a friend or friends. Stay active during this time. Don't eat and lay down, watching television allday.
I'm proud to say, I've lost 25lbs. I know, during the holidays, it will be very hard for me. I love "sweets", all kinds.
You pray for me, and I'll do the same for you. We can get through these holidays healthy and still enjoy ourselves with our families and friends !!!
Again, "Happy Holidays", may GOD, bless you and your families, is my "PRAYER" !!!
We " CAN" do this , we are " STROKE SURVIVORS" !!!
