ROMANTIC SUSPENSE

RATING: 5 MOONBEAMS

Nona Conrad has been making it through "by the hardest." Each day is a struggle - to go on after her parents' sudden death, to win her rightful inheritance from her untrustworthy half-brother, and to raise her high-spirited younger sister. Hired to manage a fishing camp deep in the Arkansas woods, the strong-willed redhead is eager to settle down - until she clashes with the camp's new owner. Simon Wright persistently dogs Nona's steps and is instantly drawn to her. But is he an ally or a charmer with his own agenda? While Nona decides, someone driven by greed will do anything to find out what she knows - and soon Nona and Simon will have nowhere to run.

Ever since meeting Simon Wright, Nona has wanted to wring his neck. He does everything in his power to annoy her while being totally charming to her sister and friend.  Little does Nona know, Simon is there to watch over her no matter what.

Simon loves to annoy Nona. He can't help but love to see the sparks coming from his favorite red head.  Simon knows that the secrets he's keeping from Nona could destroy any happiness he seeks to find with her. But that is a chance he's willing to take.

ON TALL PINE LAKE is Dorothy Garlock's 50th book. She is amazing many a fan over there years and from the looks if this book, she's not stopping anytime soon.

This is a definitely page turner with suspense and romance all mixed in. You won't know whether to smack some sense into Nona and Simon or want them to kiss and make up. These two sure are memorable characters brought to life by the wonder author, Dorothy Garlock.

I am ashamed to say this is the first time reading a book by Dorothy Garlock. Won't be making that mistake again. Fans will enjoy ON TALL PINE LAKE all the way to the end.  Its definitely a great way to spend a weekend.

I give this a rating of 5 Moonbeams.

Simon realizes he must do all to keep Lucy from harm.  Lucy does everything in her power to prevent him crossing the line with his revenge. She will do anything she can to prevent from losing Simon.

From the very beginning you will be entranced. THE SERPENT PRINCE is the latest historical romance by the very popular, Elizabeth Hoyt.

You too will be charmed as Lucy is by Simon. Readers shall be happy to see that this heroine, Lucy will not just stand by and let Simon do anything he wants. When the dust settles, these characters will get their happy endings.

Overall, I have to give this charming tale 5 Moonbeams.

A Bron Universe novel

Adrienne Backett works as a teacher's aide at her college and all she wants to do is finish up and go home. She can finally be able to enjoy her time off for spring break vacation.  But instead she finds herself being attacked by vengeful man who she reported to the dean for plagiarizing.  He means to make her pay.

Malik, King of Ulan, has until his 25th birthday to find his bride or he must forfeit his throne. When a spell reveals her location, he sees his future queen being attacked.  Malik angered goes to retrieve Adrienne.  Not a very good way to meet your soul mate.

Adrienne can't believe she's being kidnapped. She is even outraged to discover that she is to be married within a week to a man she just met.  Malik is thrilled to finally have found his mate. Now if only he can convince her that they are meant to be.

But no sooner do the happy couple began their new life as husband and wife, fate throws through a tailspin.  Malik past comes back to haunt him.  Strike two for Malik.  Once again, he manages to smooth things over with Adrienne, and things quiet down and they are happy. Unfortunately for them they have spies among them and evil beings out to do them harm.  Now that Malik has his wife, they will use whatever means necessary to destroy him. . . Adrienne.

I can't believe this book by new author, D. Renee Bagby--but from the looks of this book, ADRIENNE, she is going to lots of success in writing. ADRIENNE has plenty of everything in it. It has magic, romance, action, mystery and whole of a lot more. You'll have to read it to find out.   Do not be turned off by the beginning part of the heroine's attack scene. This story will weave its magic over you just like it did me.

I enjoyed also the secondary characters like Khursid and Bayard who's keeping their relationship private until a curious young girl named Rena, discovers them.

There's a lot more I could say, but I don't want to ruin it for the readers. I can truly say that you too will love, ADRIENNE.

I give this a rating of 5 Moonbeams.
