Strength in God

 

 

My Jesus, My Savior
Lord there is none like You
All of my days, I want to praise
The wonders of Your mighty love
My Comfort, My Shelter
Tower of refuge and strength
Let every breath, all that I am
Never cease to worship You

 

"For You have armed me with strength for the battle" (2 Samuel 22:40).

 

"Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen you heart" (Psalm 27:14).

 

"The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped" (Psalm 28:7).

 

"The Lord will give strength to His people; The Lord will bless His people with peace" (Psalm 29:11). God is Love, Love is God. Our God is a God of comfort, a God of Peace, a God of Hope, a God of Mercy, of Care.....

 

"God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1). Just as we wosuld run to our moms and dads on those dark and stormy nights, we can run to God when the going gets tough, he's ready to comfort us, to shelter us in his arms and bring us through the storms of life.

 

"The Lord is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation" (Psalm 118:14).

 

Hatred stirs up dissension, but love covers over all wrongs. Proverbs 10:12

Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. 1 Peter 4:8 Love is the commandment which Christ commanded, the comandment which covers all commandments.

 

This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it!   Psalm 118:24 The Lord is our Creator, he knows the number of hairs on our head, the number of grains of sand on the beach...upon the ends of the earth ( how amazing )!

 

“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” (John 14:27) and “Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.” (Philippians 4:9) Peace is very important in troubled times and the Lord can bring us peace through faith and continued prayer.

 

As I go forward step by step, the way will be opened up unto me.( Proverbs 4:12 ) Take each day step by step, each day is a gift from God. Let God lead the way and follow in his steps as he leads you.

 

Renew a right spirit within me. ( Psalm 51:10 ) All we have to do is ask for God to forgive us, and make us whole, and he will. It's that simple, in just a split second the slate is wiped clean and you are a new being in Christ!
