All Praise, Glory and Honor be to God. There is power in prayer in numbers. God hears our individual prayers, and answers them. Often times, we may not know how to specifically pray in words for what we need; and why it's good to have prayer support, such as intercessory to name an example.

Doctors found a spot on my Granddad’s stomach that could be anything from stomach cancer to an ulcer. He has an endoscopy scheduled for right before Thanksgiving to look into it further. Pray for his healing and that the endoscopy will show what is really going on. ( Melissa )
Pray for safety for Kevin as he is working in Las Vegas this week and he returns on Friday. Also pray for Sarah as she is home alone with all three kids. ( Fletchers )

Pray for my brothers Nocholas and Victor. Nick needs prayer for deliverance from inhalant abuse. Victor was sentenced today to 7 years in prison. Please pray for him that he will be safe and that his heart will change and that he will give his life to the Lord; also pray that he will be at peace.

asks that he is able to find a job, even if it is not one that he particularly likes.
Rita asks for our prayers in her pursuit of selling her house. It has been a bumpy attempt so far because of the economic circumstances.
Laurie asks for us to pray for her. She is having severe depression problems brought on by stress, anxiety and financial woes. She knows the Lord will
take care of her, but some days it seems hopeless.

S wants us to pray for strength, courage and per-severance. Her youngest brother had a heart attack in April; her mother passed away July 16th due to a heart attack also. S is having a difficult time since her mom and dad used to live with them.
Dora asks for our prayers. She writes: "My son, Jeremiah is having legal problems. He has a 7-yr old daughter that he has to raise. I ask for peace for both of them."

Please remember Christopher in your prayers. He was laid off from his job and has taken a paycut with another job. This is causing him great anxiety. Ask that God might reached down and cradle him.

Sherri asks for us to pray for her son, J.S., and his wife, A.S., as they are having marital problems. They have an 8-month old daughter. Sherri wants her to have a happy & loving childhood, and grow up in a loving home.
Roy from Norway is 58 and married. He needs our prayers for a new start, after years of depression. He used to be a Lay-preacher, but his SSA led him down and out of missions.
Help my dad with his gambling. Help my hubby with his eating habits that are harming him; and help me to do my daily devotions.
Pray for my friend Brendas mom, for healing from cancer.
Pray that we get our gas turned on so we can have hot water and cook good food.

Ilene asked us to pray for Jennifer White ( the 33 year old 2nd grade teacher at her school and mother of 2) who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. She will be having two major surgeries in the near future.
Shannon has asked us to pray for Bill's brother, David Teague, who is having a very difficult time with Bill's death.
David shared that Samantha returned home with her boyfriend to pick up her things on Saturday and called later and verbally abused Shannon . Please pray for healing for their family and for Samantha to be led back to Christ.
I would like to add that we all continue to lift up Shannon, Conor and her other family members during this time as they work through the grieving process and for protection for them.

Hardy requests prayer for Jana Boren and her family. She is a co-worker of his who has been diagnosed with breast cancer- stage 3. She will have surgery next week and is concerned about the fears her children have regarding the cancer. Her kids are 13 and 16. He also requested prayer for his mom, Sue, as she recovers from a kidney infection and a lot of back pain.
Marilyn asks for complete healing for her mom, Mary.
Ron asks for us to pray for his son's healing over addiction to alcohol and tobacco. He also asks for our prayers for his son's spiritual welfare.
Dan needs our prayers. He has suffered a massive heart attack recently. He is waiting to have open-heart surgey to repair his mitral valve that was damaged in a previous operation. They are postponing the procedure until he gets stronger and has better chance of surviving it. He has had a few setbacks and is very weak at the moment. He is believing God for a miracle.
Marie asks for our prayers for her husband, Jimmy. He has cancer. He had cancer of the prostate, but he made it through that. Now, he has cancer of the lungs. They have been married for 34-years as of Sept. 20th. He is her life. They have 3 children: 2 boys & 1 girl. He has been through 34-weeks of radiation and some chemotherapy. Jimmy is trying to beat this so he can see his grandkids grow up.
Please pray for Nancy. She is planning the first CROP Hunger Walk for her area and is experiencing alot of fears & worries about the event. Ask for peace of mind and that everything will come together for a successful walk.

Shannon Teague- Shannon was not able to make it to class today because of health issues. Please pray for her continued and complete healing.
Jeff Miller- Pray that they find their dog, Beemer. Jacob is very broken up about losing his best friend. Pray that whoever has him will work hard to find his home, or if they intend to keep him, pray they will have no rest or joy until they return him.
Tammy Patton- Cindy Crosslin's (Jake's teacher) husband, Terry, is still looking for a job. His 2nd interview has been postponed. He is applying for other jobs. Pray for employment for him.
David Wright- Continue praying for their daughter, Samantha; she is living with some guy in Altus . David also has a shot at a better job and will take a test on 9/29. He is also trying for another job. Pray also for their finances; no crisis, but they need to make some changes.
Cyvil- Please pray for Cyvil's daughter, Sara, that her relationship with Jesus with deepen. Also, pray for Cyvil's son-in-law who needs salvation and that his two grandchildren will grow up knowing Jesus.
Ilene- Please pray for Jennifer White, a 2nd grade teacher at her school. She found out Friday that she has breast cancer. She is only 33 and has two small children.
Pray that God will give me peace about my car and that he will help my insurance rates not to go up too much and that he will show me how I am going to get my car back from Woodward. ( Sean )

Please keep me in your prayers. Satan has been attacking my health and attitude towards ministry lately. I keep going back and forth in my mind on whether He wants me to continue this prayer request newsletter. I feel the Spirit the most when I'm at the prison. It is literally church for me! Carol asks for us to remember her daughter, Tracy, in our prayers. She is a newly married bride who is undergoing test for pre-cancer screening. She is a dedicated teacher whose whole life has been educating others children. She asks that the Lord continue to watch over

Vicky asks for us to pray for two of her friends, both named Sharon. Both are in the hospital under- going tests. She is praying for a positive outcome for both.
Tammie Please asks us to pray for her mom. She will be having neck surgery next Tuesday, September 16th. She is very worried and about the
surgery itself. Ask the Lord to give her peace so that she can get her needed rest prior to the surgery.

PRAISE!!! “Baby Out!” Kevin and Sarah now have a new daughter, Rebecca Ann. She was born Friday evening and weighed 7lbs. 4oz. ( Kevin and Sarah )
Please pray for Jen. She has tried for four years to become pregnant, and was recently delighted to find out that her prayers were answered. But she has now been told that she has a "blighted ovum". This means, basically, that the sac developed with no embryo. Please asks for the Lord's Will to be done.
A lady who wishes to remain anonymous desires our prayers. She was laid off over a year ago, and is unable to find work. Her funds have completely dried up. Her husband and son have both passed on; she misses them so much! Ask the Lord to help comfort her as she is very depressed.
Please remember Ruth in your prayers. She has a tumor at the base of her esophagus which is causing complications with eating/drinking. Ruth also has a open sore on her coccyx which won't allow for her to get into her wheelchair. Ask the Lord for a special healing.
Please pray for Marsha. She has to find another place of residence in the next 30 days.
Veronica asks for us to pray her son, Ryan. He's a freshmen in college, and is having much difficulty with his Spanish class.
Mrs Cameron has a special petition. She is a caregiver, and asks for compassion towards those who are in need of special care & assistance. She
asks the Lord to help to see past their physical differences/incapacities so she'll be able to meet their needs.
Cindy asks for her 19-yr old daughter, Sara, to be remembered in our prayers. She has recently left the nest, and needs much spiritual guidance. She's asking the Lord to bless her relationship with Sara so that she will make good choices as her faith matures.
Jan Waller asks for us to remember her new store in Fountain Inn, SC & for her Avon business. She also asks the Lord to send people to which she can witness. Please pray for her friend's cake business and her husband's need in the sale of a house. Also, please pray for stabilty of her husband's business, choice of her daughter's education, a friend/rep that has been diagnosed with Mycitagravis (healing), and her oldest daughter who is in the final stages of counseling for gastric bypass surgery.

I told him that he neede to do what makes him happy and not please others, he really deserves happiness. His mom always yells at him and told him that he is a screw up and liablility. He knows that I love him and that my door is open for him and I would go drive 8-9 hrs to go get him. I just want him to pick up the phone and talk to me. We have become very close. On Monday evening, I had the honor of visiting the Greenville County Detention Center. My time was spent primarily in G-3 & G-2 cells. Testimony, prayer, Bibles, study lessons and gospel tracts were share with the inmates. Please keep the following men in your prayers:

Please pray for little Jesse Keaton. She is 6-yrs old. Her father was bush-hogging a few days ago; Jesse was riding with him. Jesse fell off the tractor and was run over by the bush hog. She is in critical condition. Initially, there was a chance that she would lose her left hand and maybe her right. Instead, doctors were unable to save her right leg; it was amputated below the knee. Please keep Jesse and her entire family in your prayers
during this time of healing.

Brother Barry Gravely, a pal of mine, writes: "Dear all, I finally had all my tests run to see if I can hold up to major surgery on the Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm the doctors found. Heart stress test came out clear, and the Vascular surgeon nuclear scanned me and the results were that I was a good candidate for a stent instead of open surgery. This is good news as it is less invasive and mortality rates are lower. I will have pre op July 17th then surgery 8am July 24th. Please keep my family and I in your prayers, and I thank you for your phone calls, emails, and prayer lists I was put on! Times like these makes you really appreciate folks like you. I feel relieved so far, and have faith that things will work out. Sorry this seems late, but I had to have a battery of tests, wait on results, and 3 doctors to compare notes.
