FIELDWORK
Fostering cats or kittens - Abandoned cats or kittens we find / or are given to us, need to be looked after with a lot of tender loving care until they are adopted. A temporary safe home with lots of love and attention is a vital link.
Caring for sick/injured strays - Any rescued cat needing recovery will need to be kept indoors for a few days until it is strong enough to be released. All that is needed is to feed the cat, give it its medication and provide a warm and quiet environment.
After care of neutered strays - After neutering, a stray will need to be kept indoors for a few days (males 24 hrs and females 3-4 days). All that is needed is to feed the cat and provide a warm and quiet environment.
Photographer - Those of you who love taking photos with a digital camera of cats and kittens in any situation, for us to publish with our write-ups, articles etc or to upload on our websites (your name will be included with the photos published on any medium)
Feral trapping - Trapping strays to be neutered as well as any injured cat which cannot be caught easily. Experience in this field would be helpful.
Feline chauffeur - Taking cats to and from the vet to be neutered or for any other purpose.
Homing officer - Cats and kittens in our care will be up for adoption. The homing officer will be in charge of all adoptions, will keep in touch with the foster carers as well as those people who adopt a cat/kitten. They will also ensure the adopted pet is being looked after properly.
Helping cat colonies - Helping the feeders of cat colonies. Anyone wishing to neuter any cats will contact you. You will verify how many cats need to be neutered, ensure whether the feeders themselves can provide proper aftercare of these cats or whether we will have to care for them ourselves and carry out the work accordingly.
