WELCOME TO THE HOME OF THE STRATHCONA SABRES JUNIOR B HOCKEY TEAM
The Strathcona Sabres Junior B Hockey Team plays in the Capital Junior B Hockey League. The Capital Junior B Hockey League consists of teams from Edmonton, Alberta and the surrounding areas (Ardrossan, Sherwood Park, Fort Saskatchewan, Beaumont, Leduc, Wetaskiwin, Stony Plain and Spruce Grove). The league is broken up into two divisions (East and West) consisting of 14 teams.
The league started in 1972-73 and saw the University of Alberta Junior Bears take the Founders Cup in its inaugural season. The Strathcona Sabres have been a part of the league since 1978-79 season.
