Protected Training tables

The object is to give the lower rated player an opportunity to better compete.

For every 50 points difference in rating a ball from the lower rated players set is to be removed from the table at the beginning of the game. (to a maximum of 5 balls). For instance – player 1 is 1570 and player 2 is 1420 difference then = 150 --- player 2 has choice of stripes or solids and may remove any 3 balls from the table and then the game can commence.

Other examples:

1220 / 1600 remove 5

1350 / 1410 remove 1

1430 / 1595 remove 3

Lower rated player breaks

Thereafter the game proceeds as normal.
