St. Paul's is an innercity church nestled in historic downtown South Bend. The church was built in 1903 by the Studebaker family, famous for building legandary cars!
We are located at 1001 W. Colfax Ave. South Bend, Indiana 46601. That's at the corner of Colfax and LaPorte Avenues.
Our service is at 11am every Sunday morning. Please come join us for worship!
We are yolked with two other local United Methodist churches, River Park and Epworth under the leadersip of two pastors. Together, we are called "Trinity of Faith Parish." Our senior pastor is Dr. Sergio Pereira and our associate pastor is Dexter "Dick" Garman. They rotate preaching duties at the churches but share in all other duties.
We, at St. Paul's, are blessed with a wonderful pipe organ. It is one of the largest in the state of Indiana and is still in play at every service thanks to our talented organist, Joe Lightner.
We also are blessed to help our community with a Food Pantry that is operated by volunteers lead by Grace Smith. The Food Pantry is open on the third Thursday of the month from 10am-12pm.
Also, we recently started a praise team called Ps150 for Psalm 150. Ps150 is made up of members from all three churches. Marie Gresso (guitar, keyboards, and vocals), Steve Gresso(bass guitar and sound), Anne Jones (keyboards and vocals) and Connie Roseboom (vocals) are from St. Paul's. (We recently had to give up Kelly Clear (guitar, vocals) from Epworth. He has moved out of state. We will miss him but wish him well!) Ps150 provides a worship service on the second Sunday of each month, rotating between churches.
Our congregation is small but faithful! We are growing for Christ!
"All the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill
of all the people. And each day the Lord
added to their fellowship those who
were being saved." Acts 2:47
