SUMMER WRITING CHALLENGE

Since receiving recent news that my biggest fan with go absolutely ballistic in Cincinnati if I don't post more stories I have decided to make a promise to you, my loyal readers: I will post a new short story every week on Sunday beginning on June 10th. But there is a catch-- if you read it, you have to review it. At the end of the summer you will get a chance to vote on which story is your favorite and the story that gets the most votes will be my manuscript submission for MFA programs in creative writing which I will start applying to in the fall (eek)! So it is pretty important that I get lots of people to vote. So tell your friends, your family, your sorority sisters... the more people who visit the site, the more stories I'll post!

My second short story will be up soon and it is really a love it or hate it piece so I am very excited to see what you all think. I am looking for a lot of feedback, good and bad as well. If you catch a mistake please let me know, because I want this to be as professional as possible. I am trying to impress people with my writing and grammar and spelling mistakes are a silly way of distracting people from my stories. I am also trying to build up my portfolio as I plan on entering some contests and applying to some very competitive graduate programs. So any help is appreciated. Thanks!

At the request of my one loyal fan I have added more stories. Most are short, and kind of rough pieces I did during my intro to fiction class. Most of them follow an assignment prompt, so my style and voice differs a lot between the pieces. Don't be too hard on these ones - they are exercises to help me improve. Also be on the lookout for a new short story that I am writing for my current Fiction writing workshop course.
