Welcome to StoryBooks Pocket Pets. We are dedicated to the Health and Temperament of small animals for loving family pets, as well as for the show ring and pocket pet enthusiasts.
A little about our Kennel. My name is Christine and I started raising Mongolian Gerbils in 1997. I had a REW named Stormy and a Black mottled named Jill. At first I could never figure out why they where not having any REW, but after some research of genetics I solved that mystery. I now own all the colors and markings possible for gerbils to come in except the new Blue color found in the UK.
We not only hand raise these little guys to be loving family pets, but we also raise them for Class room pets as well as for show and the enthusiast. We are an AGS registered kennel and try our hardest to meet the AGS conformation standards. We are a small kennel with only 20 tanks that not only include gerbils but also Campbell's Dwarf Hamsters, Roboski Dwarf Hamsters, Merle, Siamese Fancy Mice, and Pygmy Mice. As of 2007 we are thinking about bringing back our Mini Rex Rabbits, the original Velveteen Rabbit. Yet this may take sometime as we plan their return. Be sure to watch for them 
My family of two children and Hubby also take part in these adorable little one's. My son absolutely loves the hamsters and is always eager to hand tame new babies. My daughter like myself enjoys the gerbils. She also has a rat named Sky, but she live in her room 
My Hubby likes anything that comes in the color of Agouti.
