I am an aspiring writer and hope to finish my first novel, "The Hope of Artanis", by Summer/Fall 2008. Excerpts of my work can be seen by clicking on the links to the left.
My story takes place in a world I've created. The Lands of Artanis are similar to those of Dark Age Britain, with one major difference - those who are trained in the art of the arcane, are able to wield powerful magick.
The lands are divided. Avaness, the mystical realm - Land of the El-Shee, has disappeared behind a magickal barrier - lost for many years. Lately, Artanis suffered from sever weather phenomenas and the Lake of Fire is stirring. Nenya, a young healer apprentice, must find the lost realm, because someone is working strong magick, upsetting the balance of nature.
