Steph's Stories

Hey people! Welcome to my stories website.  I have written all of these stories, and I should mention that NONE OF THEM ARE BASED ON PERSONAL EXPERIENCE.  There are also a few poems on here.  I hope you enjoy them.   Scroll down for a synopsis of each story. I've gotten much better at them, so I am deleting the ones I originally wrote a long time ago as I have revamped them and made them much much better.

Most of my stories are about a character known as Sarah River and her journey through life from the ages of about 5-19 with an epilogue explaining what became of her life. These are on another website and are a series called Something's Broken // Sarah's Story

If you are only going to read one of the stories, I think the best one is No Way Back which is part of the Something's Broken series.

This is a story I wrote based on the whole family, had only one event changed. It's shorter than most of the others.
~What If...

I have also written another story which doesn't have very much to do with the Rivers.  It is called Elsewhere.  Another story is tof Isabella, which has nothing to do with the Rivers. This is only partly finished and is called Better Days. Another I am working on is called Forever Love, which is actually quite sad - but it won't be up for quite awhile, so I have yet to even create a page for it.

I have a story on here that's rather sad, at least it made four of five friends cry... It's about a girl whose best friend attempts suicide, called I'll Be Missing You.

I have three VERY short reads on here as well. They are I Can See, Alone in a Crowd and Temptation. Temptation especially is very morbid. These are more of statements and images than anything else...

My stomach twists into a knot and I feel rather light-headed. My vision starts to blur as tears burn my eyes and begins to spill down my face. I hold your body close to mine for just one more minute, hoping to freeze time. You tell me you have to go and I choke out a goodbye. As you leave I begin to lose my breath and I have difficulty standing. You are out of sight and I can't stop crying...

Something's Broken // Sarah's Story
"How did I get here, you ask?  Fine, I'll tell you.  I suppose it all started back when I met Jordan.  That was the worst mistake of my life..."  Find out what happened to Sarah to bring her to where she is in life.

Elsewhere
Lilly has always lived a sheltered life.  Her parents are so overly-protective that she barely even knows herself.  She realizes she has to make some serious changes if she's ever to live the life she wants.  Even if it means disobeying her mother and father to get there.

Better Days (Incomplete)
Isabella is an award-winning actress, writer and director.  She is gorgeous, rich and smart - she has it all.  At least until she winds up pregnant by her 'boyfriend' who dumps her at the first mention of a child. She's scared and alone with a baby on the way - and that is precisely the time she meets Deveraux Matthews, her perfect man.  But what are the chances he'd really want her once he realizes all of the baggage she comes with?
