"A  Prayer for Animals"
 Hear our humble prayer O God, For our friends the animals. Especially for the animals that are suffering; For any that are hunted or lost or Deserted or frightened or hungry; For all that must be put to death. We entreat for them all thy mercy and pity, And for those who deal with them, We ask a heart of compassion And gentle hands and kindly words. Make us, ourselves, to be true friends to animals And so to share the blessings of the merciful."

Muffin was a special girl who went through allot in her time on earth..She was taken to the L County Shelter in November with a broken elbow that had been left that way for a week.

STS rescued her and she came to my house where sadly she got sick with Parvo a deadly dog disease.She survived that and by the time she able to have surgery to repair her elbow it was to late due to time factor so STS decided to have it amputated. She did fine with the surgery and was off to her new home in Maine..She was only in her new home for 12 hours and was taken to a Med Vet with a fever and infection..Later with great regret the adopter's decided they needed to let her go she had been through enough.

Muffin was a kind gentle soul who touched everyone's heart that had the joy of meeting her.She was very loving and just wanted a home where she could be loved back and taken care of properly.

We at STS are mourning her she was a very special young lady of only 2 years old..

GOD rest your soul sweet baby girl..Your foster mommy loves and misses you each and every day..We will see you again someday at the "Bridge"
