It has been a hard decision whether to share thse poems and drawings or not, but I feel that it is necessary to help in educating others about what might be happening in a mind that is being controlled with prescription mental health medications. My husband is the only one who I have ever shared all of this with before. They still evoke strong feeling for me, but instead of feeling hopeless and tormented I now feel sadness for the woman who wrote them. Ironically that woman was me and it does hurt to know that. It is so far from who I was prior to treatment and light years from who I am today. Please know that I am not sharing these or my story for anyone to feel sorry for me, but to help give a voice to those who have lost theirs through the tragedies that mental health medications can cause.
