DOG TREAT RECIPES
Pilchard Cake Treats
This is very much like the Liver Cake recipe but with tinned pilchards YUM YUM WOOF!!
2 Large tins Pilchards in tomato sauce
10 oz Flour ( we use self raising )
2 Eggs, Milk to mix
Mix all together in a food processor adding enough milk to make a soft like consistency and bake in large shallow tray (lined with silicone paper or you'll never get it out of tin) at 160 degrees until firm - just like a sponge cake. Cut into small cubes, will keep in the fridge for up to one week or freeze.
Liver Cake
1kg ox Liver
1kg wholemeal flour
1 head of garlic
2 large eggs, beaten, skimmed milk to mix
Food process the liver and garlic. mix in flour and eggs with enough milk to make a spreading consistency.( WELL grease and line tin silicone baking paper since this stuff is murder to remove once it bakes on hard) and spread in the mixture. Bake 180` for 30 minutes or so, until it is a firm cake. When cool, turn out and cut into pieces, and freeze. Keep the defrosted cake in fridge. Warning can make disgusting mess of your food processor, but the dogs love it.

Discover Dogs Mandy-sue has been invited to run Izzy at Discover Dogs on 11th & 12th November this is a demonstration event which is organized at Earls Court there are many other things going on,( its worth going for a day out ). Reserve runner John Winney 
Had a great two days, Izzy enjoyed running very much but didn't come home with any prizes although we still had a good time. John, i'm sorry to say didn't get to run but good news my knee was good enough for me to run both days.Tilley ran in the knock-out on Saturday as she is 11yrs old i would expect her to be slowing down a little, but how very very wrong i can be, she went like a rocket she curtainly does like the atmosphere. Crufts here we come!!
Valley Farm Agility Show Well done to Ronnie & Mish with there dogs Ollie & Kez also Derek & Poppy, Ria & Holly, Mary & Darcy and many others which attended this fun show it was a lovely sunny day we all had fun which is what its all about. A big thank-you to John Winney for running my dogs Tilley & Izzy as i am still recovering from a knee injury you ran them very well John.

A trophy has kindly been donated by Hilary & Stephen Pearce for the handler or dog which we feel has persevered week after week through all the ups and down they may have had over the time at Stonebridge Dog Agility Club.The winner of this trophy will be announced at our christmas party.
