 A pitiful patched and tagged former Denver and Rio Grande Western waits for the next duty as a swticher in the Union Pacific Fresno yard.

This is a close as I could get to a shot of Union Pacific's new "Green Goat" switch engine.  Technically, it's an RPI GG20B, a "Low-Emissions Diesel Hybrid Switching Loco."  The road number is UPY 2004.

This is a former Burlington Northern SD40-2 7253 now owned by leasing company First Union Rail, or FURX.  It is leading a southbound BNSF manifest past the station at Fresno.
