This site is with it's beta version since September 2005 on the market and with the final?version since January 2006. It is based in Budapest, Hungary and operates therefor under hungarian law. By the 01.04.2006 were around 50.000 images online and several thousand are added each week. The review time is with 1-2 days very quick and even includes the lap between approval and being actually online. The artist is paid between 50 and 60% of the sales price ($1-$4) = min. 0.50US$/ max 2.40US$. The sales are only made on a per photo base. Buyers pay between $1 - $4 per image. There are no prefered subjects or styles for submitted images, but there is an preferment of shots/ creative ideas. The sites statement: "Stockxpert is the place to be. :)" The site may be browsed in English, German, Spanish, French and Hungarian. Brazilian Portuguese, Dutch and Polish versions will be launched ASAP. Additional services are an auction like request system which is currently under construction, a special lightbox you can't find anywhere else, they have also powerful image management tools, an automatic metadata reader, FTP upload capability and so on... Current requieremnt for submission may ne found here.  Somebody who submits for the first time has to submit 5 sample images alongside a short bio. The max file size is, at the moment, 8MB and it will be raised soon. 1.300+ people submit to Stockxpert and there are tens of thousands potential buyers registered. There is no limit for how long an image may stay online. purchased images cannot be used on templates and print on demand items.
