Discipline, Honor, Integrity, Respect, Self-Control, Perseverance, Perception and Loyalty

The United States of America. Great country... hard work!!               Developement of the Mind Through the Discipline of the Body.               Developing Humanity Through the Martial Arts!               The 'True' Republic of China

Who We Are:

We are students of the Shaolin Lohan Pai.  Our principles have been passed through generations to help improve the quality of life for all!  We are Martial Artist, Husband and Wives, Sons and Daughters, College Students and Professors, Young and Old, Wealthy and Poor.  More importantly... we are all students of the "Shaolin Lohan School of Kung Fu"!!

Our main objective is "To Reach Development of the Mind Through the Discipline of the Body"!  The unity of the "Body, Mind and Spirit" is the reward, Shaolin Lohan Kung Fu is the journey and making the decision to join us is the first step.

War is an Art!!

What We Do:

The Pupils and Disciples of the "Shaolin Lohan School of Kung Fu" are dedicated to "Success" in all forms.  We strive to be the 'absolute best' in everything that we do.

Quite often, you will notice the Pupils and Disciples of this charter practicing their martial skills late into the evening long after classes are finished.  This training is often done around the community practicing in unusual places.

The Disciples of this charter are also committed to their community!  What do we mean by this?  We understand that the only way to improve "Humanity" is by first taking steps to improve ourselves.  Once that has been accomplished; we take that "improvement" and do our best to educate others on ways to improve their own lives.  Sigung Cabais has taught us to take 'personal responsibility' for the communities that we are a part of.  He has taught us to "Be part of the solution and not the problem".  Kung Fu is life!  So, we strive to live!

Looking back...   Conquering others requires force. Conquering yourself requires enlightenment!  ...and realizing that the body is necessary!

It's Not ALL Hard Work

I'm dizzy!                                                          Me too!

It is true that we learn “Hard Work” (Kung Fu).  However, it is also true that we play just as hard!!  The camaraderie that we all share in this school seems to be unrivaled by any other organization in our community.  Our school seems to have a stronger sense of unity than most other churches or temples.  What is a temple?  Most dictionaries define a “Temple” as a building used as a place of worship.  We definitely ‘worship’ Kung Fu.

Our students play, celebrate, counsel and spend a great deal of time together.  Most of us would not have it any other way.  This family is a choice.  Unlike the one most are born to.  We cherish that choice and find new ways to enjoy that ‘family’.

"A Final Word"

The words "kung fu" can be translated as the acquiring of a skill. Studying Kung Fu teaches more than just a martial art. We often use the phrase "the art of mental and physical agility" to describe the Shaolin Lohan Kung Fu system. What gives practitioners of Kung Fu the ability to do such amazing things is more than just the training of the body, it is the conditioning of the mind. The study of Kung Fu isn't about becoming physically strong and fit, it is about the realization that we all have the will to do whatever we want. By forcing our strong will on our weak bodies we will succeed.

How do we evaluate our Kung? "By our ability to react to our environment."
How do we improve our Kung? "By changing our environment to suit our needs."

Being mentally agile means more than just being able to hold a horse stance for an hour or doing a standing back flip. Mental agility is the ability to not only succeed in ones endeavors, but to change oneself for the positive. Kung Fu grants the willpower to force the world around you to accept that you are going to succeed because you won't give up.

Why does the way of Shaolin imitate God's creatures? "To reach development of the mind through discipline of the body."

Shaolin Lohan Pai Kung Fu is a traditional northern Chinese Kung Fu system. It is based on the five animal forms (Tiger, Crane, Snake, Leopard, and Dragon) and includes 30 weapon systems. For more information on the Shaolin Lohan Kung Fu system please see the Shaolin Lohan School of Kung Fu art section of their web site, or speak with one of the Instructors of the school.

If it is not the power of the fist or the foot that we train first, then what is it? "It is the focused power of respect, discipline and self-control that we train first. It is a focused power that promises to change lives forever!"

Join those who have come to the realization that successful people differ from the masses in one way. Success comes to those who will it. Everyone has the potential to do what he or she wants. Those who combine that potential with the will to overcome adversity succeed in their endeavors.

We look forward to hearing from you.
