Belldandy is sent to grant Morasato's wish. Thinking it's a hoax, he wishes for the beautiful & powerful goddess to stay by his side forever! That's when all hell breaks loose, literally!     Mai Tokiha & her little brother are on their way to a new private High School. Mia just wants to fit in & take care of her brother, but this is an anime, & we all know that isn't likely. In fact, even before Mia reaches the island the school is on, weird things begin to happen, starting w/ giving CPR to a young girl who seemed to have been battling some kind of monster. Does CPR count as a firt kiss? Apparently it does, as Mia soon after finds out she's a HiME, a girl capable of using Highly advanced Materializing Equipment, whose powers are activated/ realized after one's first kiss. Now Mai has to figure out how best to use her powers & keep them secret, figure out her feelings after "kissing" a girl during CPR, figure out how she feels about a guy she despises & approach her crush, take care of her little brother, find out what the demons appearing near the school mean, & struggle to keep her grades up all at the same time. It's an action pact adventure! Oh!, did if forget to mention there's a secret organization, or two, trying to mold events in their favor? [English version is a good translation]
