Taken care of With an Aquamedic Turbofloater 1000, and I have Rescently
added a Berlin XL powered by an Eheim 1060 (602gal/h 2280l/h) because of algae problems. The live rock takes
care of all the filtration in the system (berlin method). I have taken
out the DSB because of algae problems and have left a much finer layer
of sand on the Bottom so my Goby is still happy to sift away. Im
thinking of going Bare Bottom and adding another powerhead. Water
Movement is Provided with a Laguna 7000 pump rated at 2219 gallons an hour (8440l/h) . There is
one Hagen 802 powerhead inside the tank along with one atman powerhead,
these three pumps working in Unison provide my tank with ALOT of flow
and no dead spaces.
