Long time no update..sorry about that, I hadn't really been updating the news but there are updates to the site as you'll see by having a look around, including some new content in the Jokes section.  I've also added a new Gaming news section on the homepage which will be updated with gaming news from around the web.  Check out this months news of Resident Evil 4 on the PC.  You'll also have heard about the cancellation of Click & Destroy by reading the Flash news on the homepage, well I have some good news, I recovered the file and I'll be finishing the game, so keep checking for it.

WELCOME TO THE COMPUTER GAME REVIEWS SECTION

This is were i have put reviews of my favourite computer games. All reviews were written by me. NOTE - I've just started this section so there are only three reviews the now. More will be added later. All games are given a Stick Destruction Studios Rating, I give the games a score out of 1 to 10, 1 is the worst and 10 is the best. If the scores are quite high, the games will get either a gold, silver or bronze medal. The scores that i give the games are just my opinion.

PLAYSTATION 2

SPIDERMAN THE MOVIE

This is a great game, its been really well done. Its like the movie, you start off in the wrestling costume just like the movie and you have to catch uncle Ben's killer. After that you get the Spider-Man costume and the story unfolds. Not all of the game is like the movie, some levels and characters have been added in to make the game longer and more fun. The only thing lacking in the game was that there was no multiplayer feature. But it was a great game.

JAMES BOND 007 IN....AGENT UNDER FIRE

Im a huge Bond fan so i loved this. Its a FPS (First Person Shooter) which has great detail and is full of great effects. Some levels change to third person, this is for the driving levels. There are lots of weapons to choose from and second function including the silencer for the P2k which Bond screws into the barrel. The game also has great gadgets to use including a laser which comes out of Bonds phone and the cars have great gadgets like missiles. The multiplayer is great although its lacking bots but still very fun to play. Its got everything a Bond fan wants which is action, fast cars, women, guns, humour, villains and gadgets.

UNREAL TOURNAMENT

This is a great multiplayer game. You can either play youself or play your mates at the multiplayer. If your playing yourself you choose your character and start off in the deathmatch. As the game goes on you will unlock new ladders. The ladders are - Deathmatch, Capture The Flag, Domination and Assault. Once you complete all the ladders you face the boss. The game is great. Full of great weapons and effects its a really enjoyable game. the multiplayer is great. You can go through the different ladders with your mates and put bots in it too. The game is great fun.

JAMES BOND 007  NIGHTFIRE

The new James Bond game has been released and looks great.  First of all, the level designs and gameplay are great.  You have stunning graphics and locations and the game looks like a lot of time has been spent on it.  The game is also very realistic such as when you climb a ladder, Bond puts his gun away until you climb it and when you change to the watch laser Bond pushes his sleeve back first.  There are also more driving levels, you can take the Aston Martin Vanquish for a spin and switch the view to first person this time.  More things have been added in that were absent from Agent Under Fire like rain and snow.  Plus the gunbarrel sequence has been put in at the start of the game which looks great.  The start of the game feels like a movie, you get the gunbarrel sequence first then after the first level there is a theme song.  The first level is basically for just starting off and getting used to it, a tutorial level in other words.  The multiplayer is also great, this time with bots which were also absent from Agent Under Fire.  So you can play your friends or play against the computer.  Its a great game and deserves a gold medal.

RED FACTION 2

Red Faction 2 is also out now and again looks great.  This time your on earth instead of Mars and its futuristic.  You play Alias, a demolitions expert in a squad of six which are enhanced by Nano Technology.  The first level is basically a tutorial and this is before you are enhanced.  After the first level, the cut scene says two years later from this point you are enhanced and you will notice after that that if you've been injured, your health will go back up after a few seconds due to been Nano enhanced.  This does not work on the first level because as I said above, the first level is before your enhanced.  The gameplay and graphics are great.  Another big thing you can do now is blow almost anything up.  This is the Geo-mod Technology.  Stuck in a room? cant find anywhere to go?  just blow up the wall and run through.  The multiplayer is really cool.  I loved playing it.  Red Faction 2 is a great game and a must buy.

TIMESPLITTERS

Timesplitters is quite an addictive game.  Its really fun running around through time blowing up zombies or robots.  You can play the story mode which takes you through the levels or you can have a multiplayer and the multiplayer is huge in this game.  There are lots of multiplayer modes to do.  When I saw and played the demo of the second Timesplitters I was amazed.  When I bought the first one I also thought it was great but not as good.  Dont get me wrong, the first Timesplitters kicks ass but it does look like it was rushed compared to the second one.  But the great multiplayer makes up for it.
