St Hilda's Church : A praying church

In the Bible, Jesus commands us to love one another;
to love our neighbour; to love our enemies;
and to pray to God our father.

At St  Hilda's we pray for each other and for the community and the world around us - in our services, in  PCC meetings and at other events as well as at home or during the working day.

During our services

We pray for the world, the church and ourselves - including our leaders and those we know to be in need; stories in the news and those affected by them; and for the work and worship of the church in serving God and others.

Asking for prayer

If you would like us to pray for something or someone on your mind or heart, drop us a line using the 'Contact' button above. If is not YOU whom we are praying, please ask the person's permission.

Making intercession for the Church

We are called to pray for our ministry and mission.  To help us, there is a prayer calendar which can be obtained by clicking HERE.
