Greetings of Peace and in our Lord

We are now at the end of our five year Archdiocesan Pastoral Plan which started in the year 2000. This year's thrust focuses on the "mission". We also celebrate the Eucharistic Year as well as the Marian Year as decreed by His Holiness Pope John Paul II and by Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines respectively. Hence we come up with the theme, Evangelized and Eucharistic Communities: Called to Contemplate and to Proclaim with Mary".

As Christian missionaries, we need to deepen our relationship with Jesus who is the Eucharist himself. Thanksfully, we have our Blessed Mother who can lead us towards a loving relationship with her Son. It is also our hope that in doing so we become effectiev proclaimers of the word.

May your fiesta celebration in honor of St. Francis of Assisi on OCtober 3 and 4, 2006. be an oppurtunity to become a people in love with the Eucharist and Mary.
