![]() The NAIGAI NAG-50XL was the first 50MHz linear that I ever owned, back in the early 1980s. This Japanese made tube linear was built for 50MHz and employed a pair of RCA 6146 tubes. Max drive was 10 watts for 100 watt output. The linear was sold to me by Klaus, VS6FX together with a Trio TS-600.

The following are some old photographs of our club propagation tests field days
up a Tate's Cairn in the 1990's for 2 meters and 70 centimeters to BV (Taiwan)
and JA (Japan).
