To commission a portrait either post a photograph or email me an image (stevelilart@aol.com or click on the contacts link), stating your requirements. The clarity of the photo you choose makes a significant difference to the final artwork, the clearer and more sharply focused the better. If you are sending a scanned image please forward at 300dpi or higher in JPEG format. Portraits can be created from more than one photo. All original photos will be returned with your completed commission.(work in progress can be viewed via email if required).

Each portrait will be quoted on an individual basis. Prices reflect the time and attention to detail. Below is a rough guide for head and shoulder portraits excluding any background or intricate details like complex patterned materials, bouquets etc.

The balance of the payment is due on approval of an emailed proof of your completed artwork. Once the balance is received, the artwork will be despatched. All prices are excluding postage and packing which will be quoted once the size of the artwork and its destination are known. A price will be supplied to you for approval before I continue with your portrait.
For typical portraits you should allow 4 to 6 weeks for your work to be completed. For larger works allow 6 to 8 weeks. Remember to book early for Christmas as workloads are far greater approaching the festive season.
