Welcome to Kyle Davis' 1/4 midget website. Kyle is 13 yrs old and his 6th
and final year of racing 1/4 midgets in 2005. We have decided to move on
from quarter midget racing. We have had a great time for the past 6 years and
appreciate all the good friends we have met over the years. The decision was
not an easy one, but one we made none the less. I have watched Kyle go from
a nervous novice to an experienced racer and am very proud of what he has
accomplished along with 22 wins over the years. Kyle has always shown great
sportsmanship. He has had some great friendly rivalries that we both looked
forward to each week.
We had a belief that we won together and lost together. We now move on together.

What's a Quarter Midget ?
Boys and Girls ages 5 to 16 drive open wheel race cars, scaled down to 1/4 the size of a full size midget race car. Quarter Midget Racing is a sport that is enjoyed by, and involves the entire family. Dads are know as "Handlers", brothers and sisters are the crew, and Moms do scoring and even work on the cars. Quarter midgets are built to QMA's requirements and specifications. All drivers are required to have SFI rated race suits, gloves, helmets, neck collars, arm restraints, and a 4 point harness. All drivers are also required to go thru novice training before they can be placed into 1 of 16 different class's depending on their age and engine that is in the car. Most people are like myself, we start out with a car in the back of a pickup truck and a anxious child in the seat. It progresses over the years to a trailer full of cars, tires, parts and a child full of hopes and dreams. Feel free to look through the site, and come out and watch a race at your nearby 1/4 midget track. Every track I have ever been to has always had free admission to spectators.
