Counterweight is carved bloodwood with a tapped 10/32 hole in the back
for counterweights. The lower block of maple is there for the time
being to get the whole thing up to the right height.
Looking down the underside of the arm:
It's not too easy to see, but the underside of the arm is curved toward the top.
This gives a general inverted U shape to the arm. Nice and strong and a big weight savings.

You can see some of the curve here. The white squares are 3M doublesided tape to hold the wiring for testing.
The arm pivot clamp from above:
Three hex head bolts hold the clamp to the maple arm board. Bolt on the side is to
allow for height adjustment.
It's alive! The TT is a HK T7 with the very nasty Rabco mech linear arm removed.
Phono stage is unmentionable at this time. Even so, it sounds very good. Even better after I got the VTA set right.
