Is Cuba Part of Atlantis?
What I am about to share with you is only a theory. This theory is based on many hours of research. It is being presented here today to offer a totally new perspective on what you have been taught in school and in accredited universities throughout the world. It is most hope that some of you will take the time to investigate this new theory and in the process learn about the not so distant history of the world.
After researching the clues of our ancient past, I decided that I would examine the present beginning during the period of 1492 to the present. On October 12th, 1492 a man by the name of Cristobal Colon (Christopher Columbus) sailing from Spain with three ships, named the Pinta, the Nina, and the Santa Maria, discovered what is now called the “New World.” At the time of this discovery, the population of the Western Hemisphere was well over 100 million Indigenous People.
Cristobal Colon returned to Spain with his findings regarding what he had discovered in the “New World.” In the following year in 1493, he returned with 17 ships and invaded Espanola (Which is now known as Haiti and the Dominican Republic). Colon then installed himself as Viceroy where he governed until 1500. By the year 1496, only three short years after his arrival, he had reduced the population of 8 million Indigenous people to 3 million. By the time of his removal as Viceroy of Espanola, in 1500, there were only 100 thousand Indigenous Peoples left. For those of you who want to research these startling revelations, this information can be easily found in a book entitled, “A Little Matter of Genocide- Holocaust and Denial in The Americas- 1492 To the Present- by Ward Churchill.
During Cristobal Colon’s travels in the “New World” his description of Cuba was referred to as a peninsula and not an island is what tcaught my immediate attention. What I also found quite amazing was his claim that he had only explored the eastern shores of it.
Knowing what I know now by the maps of the island of Cuba, it was hard for me to believe that he would confuse an island as large as Cuba and call it a peninsula instead; especially given the fact of Cuba’s size in comparison to the other islands in the area. Was there something here that was being hidden?

There was also a matter of why the Spanish government after Colon returning to Spain after his second journey to the “New World” would be put in prison. Could it be that what Colon had discovered while exploring Cuba in the “New World” effect the prevailing paradigm and rewrite the origin of man as being earlier than that of Europe?
After giving this matter a great deal of thought and by studying maps, what I am about to share with you is what I believe to be is possible evidence for the continent of Atlantis that sunk thousands of years ago in the Atlantic Ocean. The physical evidence I site is the Island of Cuba, which I believe is the Continent of Atlantis’s Western Shores.
In the mythical story told by Greek philosopher Plato, he claimed that the continent of Atlantis submerged into the sea after a large catastrophic event. It is my theory that the submerging of this continent sent massive waves over 300 feet in height, thus the volume of water violently made it’s way through the Gulf of Mexico and water traveled from Louisiana over two thousand miles north to Minnesota creating what is now known as the Mississippi River. The water also traveled west through the Gulf of Mexico and made its way to South Texas and Mexico creating what is now known as the Rio Grande.
Since the early 1800’s the American government has taken a special interest in Cuba. In the 1870’s they were running guns to the Island and wanted to take possession of this valuable waterfront property. Then in the 1960’s the United States government lost its grip on the island because of the efforts of a young college educated political activist named Fidel Castro.
“I warn you! I am just beginning- if there is in your hearts vestige of love for your country, love of humanity, love for justice, listen carefully… I know that the regime will try to suppress the truth by all possible means. I know that there will be a conspiracy to bury me in oblivion. But my voice will not be stifled. It will rise from my breast even when I feel alone, and my heart will give it all the fire that callous cowards deny it… Condemn me. It does not matter. History will absolve me.”-Fidel Castro

Many questions have been raised as to why this tiny island in comparison to the United States has been under an embargo since the early 1960’s. There are many communist dictators throughout the world. Why is Cuba considered to be an evil empire? Is there something we are overlooking here? There are those who live on the island that say, “The answer may one day be found beneath the Sierra Maestra Mountains”. Could there be evidence of an ancient civilization there? There are others on the island who claims that the United States Base in Guantanamo Bay has underground tunnels that lead to the Sierra Maestra Mountain range.
Will we ever find out? Does Fidel Castro have the answers? And if so, will he take then to his grave? We may never have the answers. It does make one wonder?
