**Tintown Shiba Inus**

  At Tintown Shibas, our Shibas are family-raised and well socialized with our two children. Our Shibas have the desired qualities of small size, curled tail and triangular-set "Oriental" eyes. Colors range from the deep red color, to black and tans,  and the red sesame. I do not breed cream shibas, as they are not accepted by the AKC. Although I do agree they very stunning to look at! Because of its native ability and environment, the modern Shiba enjoys the outdoors and cold weather. They have a special fascination for the snow, playing and jumping in it. They are cat-like in their cleanliness and never have doggie-odors, shibas are so clean they can be housetrained in a few days! Shibas are perky and sturdy making them ideal childrens playmates. If there are no children around, nor adults, they will adapt to playing with the family cat. Also a Shiba left alone with some great toys, is perfectly able to entertain himself for long periods. They are loving and ready for fun, but are not always underfoot when their people are busy. We love our Shibas and put lots of time and care into them. 

 I am certain that you will take every oppurtunity to research this particular breed of dog to ensure that it is a good match for you.  We have never been so happy with any other breed of dog.  We are so glad that we have opened our homes to these lovely creatures.They are so playful, friendly, and loving.  We house broke them with ease using the crate method. They had very few accidents within the first two weeks.  But thereafter, they go to the door and ring a bell to go outside.

This is our newest boy Polani, he is a Japanese import. We believe he will do great things here in Tintown. A big thank you goes to Joni Morningstar for allowing me to own this beautiful import.

 Here is our sweet girl JEWELL(CH. Cedarcrest Jewell of the Nile). She has the best temperment you could find in a Shiba. Her best features are her head, bone structure, and her beautiful coat. She loves to gives kisses to everyone and likes to lay in my lap for cuddling! She is a Cedarcrest girl, all the way from TN. Here she is 5 1/2 months old.
