Emma Benjamin

After finishing at Step Above I went travelling for 6 months to Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia. Whilst i was in Malaysia I entered the FHM (Asia) Dancing Competition in kuala Lumpar where i actually went on to win it! I appeared on MTV Asia and got to perform with Tata Young (Malaysia's version of Britney Spears.)
I am currently in my second year studying for a BA Hons degree in Dance at DeMontfort University. After my final thrid year I am going to pursue a PGCE in Dance and maybe go on to a MA in Dance.
This summer I will be dancing in numerous cabaret/dance shows around Greece and will also be performing with the best live singers in Greece for Rondon Live in a top music hall in Thesaloniki.
I have also been teaching street jazz, Hip Hop as well as Contemporary at a local school in Bedford and looking forward to a future in dance and my aim is to teach to all different people with different skills and backgrounds.

Well...well... well... hey you guys! yeah its me Lenon*
I used to attend 'Step Above Theatrical Studios' and i must say practically grew up there! I loved all the teachers there- and still do.... And the great thing about Step Above is that it 100%  gave me great confidence, and you can only imagine me as a young little boy stepping into a new school full of girls!  lol  ~
  Must say, everything comes to a end in life, but the great thing is, i could still have my friends from there, And have a great friendship with the 1 and only Mr C Liebman, that is the best bloody geezer you will meet.
   Right now i attend 'Italia Conti Performing Arts College' down the Barbican, and now HOPING to do A levels, and then go on to study further to become a secondary Drama teacher. Thanks 4 everything- Craig - Pat - Charleen - Laura - Rebecca - Chan - & Karina --  ohh  and obviously how could i forget the first face i saw before entering any of my classes -  Simone Liebman! Yesim Revan

Hello again! Do you remember me? It’s Yesim and I used to attend the ‘step above theatrical studios’ and I loved every minute of it. The teachers were amazing and taught me a lot of stuff. They encouraged and influenced me so much so that I decided to start my own dance classes teaching street and jazz dance. I’ve been teaching now for 2 months almost and it’s been great. I thought I hated little kids but there’re pretty cool when they get the dance moves right. Hmm what else have I been doing? Well I’m still at school doing my A levels and after that I hope to go uni! And that’s about it! O yeah and thanks Craig for everything! xxx
