Vocals in: Smokey, sultry, slinky
Good guitar tone on the solo. Cool sound.
Who do you sound like? I have no idea, sounds original to me. Some kind of suburban aquarian telephone pole acid rock? Overall: I'm diggin the harpischord sound
Nice length and good abrupt ending.

How great is that compliment? The singer reminds me of the girl from the band Zero 7.
REVIEWS OF LABELS (TRIPHAZARD)
great melody
Great melody, great drums, great female vox. the production value and performance on this song are also excellent, I have no complaints, except maybe make that harpsichord sound a bit louder...
Extra Credit: Production.

Bright 'n' breezy
Well it kicks off like the Pink Panther theme!
Good lively feel from the off, carried along by the smooth and precise beat. The bright sound of the kit really suits this particular song, although it wouldn't be a sound I'd usually go for.
The song shifts effortlessly between its various phases, never pausing too long in any one place in order to keep the interest of the listener
Love the harpsichord-like sound used during the choruses. It adds a lively and bright texture that sits above the rest of the instrumentation providing a wider range of textures than you'll usually find in such a song
The lead vocal has a good tonal quality and the melody has good moments - particularly in the bridge, where it separates itself from the chord progression more appealingly
Nice pop song.
Extra Credit: Drums, Keyboards.

Sounds a little like elton
Very good performance. Band is extremely tight, this isn't a straight ahead song, there are little intricacies and fast chord changes that make it technically difficult
The vocalist is very good, and I dig her lyrics.
Who do you sound like? To me y'all remind me of Elton John, especially some of the tracks off of

Stef Stokes is a teenage singer from Liverpool England. she has been singing and performing all her life, playing piano since the age of 5 and also plays guitar. her influences are Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvara, Sheryl Crow, Everclear, and Blink 182. she could go on because through out her life music has been central to her family and she can appreciate all kinds of genres.
The biggest influence in her life has got to be her sister Jenni, she is presently studying for a degree in Performing Arts at Liverpool Hope University. Jenni introduced her to Alanis Morrisette, Fiona Apple and Tori Amos.
It was Christmas 2003, just past her 15 birthday when things began to take off. She had just recorded a demo and caught the attention of an agent called Lyn Staunton and she became a guest artist on her radio show. As a result of that she became record of the week and a succession of live appearances took place. she was introduced to a songwriter called Davy Edge and he wrote and produced a song called
Still Here
which reached number 1 on Aiiradio.
It was through Aiiradio that she contacted by Aarion Lee from US band Koalition. She was invited to record some vocals for them with some stunning results.
Stef then went into the studio to record
Whats Wrong With Dreaming? a classic masterpiece that attained critical acclaim and another Number 1 spot on the Aiiradio chart. More songs were worked on including
Let Go and yet another number 1 slot occured from the hypnotic groove that is
For My Lover which has currently spent nearly half a year in that chart.
Stef started to play live, building up a strong following and a string on unforgettable gigs.
Stef is now working with a new band called Triphazard. They have been together since November 2004 and are sucessfully progressing from strength to strength. They started off under the name Hegemony, but was a bit of a mouth full. They are currently gigging and writing new material such as the brilliant
Phase 2 and
Labels.
I hope you enjoy the free sample mp3's here on this site. Please feel free to sign the guestbook.
THANKS FOR VISITING
COME BACK SOON.......KIM x
