Leading a Prayerful life

How often do you pray?

Now come on be honest how many of us actually find the time to sit down and have those precious quiet times with God. Many of us lead busy work and social lives that don't lend themselves to a pray cycle that is sustainable. For many months I followed the Daily Worship from the Church of England, but I found that it was increasingly hard to find the time and space out of the hectic schedule to sit down and have that quality prayer time. I know how important it is, I know how powerful it is, so it's time to put aside those excuses and make the decision for 2008 to have regular prayer times. I am going to go back to using this as a structure for my prayer, I found I was able to focus on the wider picture of God, being a Christian and what they expect from me. Make it your new years resolution to spend a healthy amount of time talking to God. Don't leave it until Sunday! Commit yourself to a time and stick to it. The link below will take you to the Church of England prayer daily worship area, and this gives a nice structure to that daily time with God! I recomend at least 20 minutes to go through each, and I am not suggesting that you do all three each day. If you find yourself trawling through yet another meaningless website, remember this check in and find some peace with God.
