Good Will Fire Company

Good Will was in attendance at the DeKalb St. Bridge  re-opening two weeks ago, nearly two years after work was started to replace the aging bridge.  Many dignitaries were in attendance, including Governor Rendell, who spent some time talking with members and even posed for a few pictures.

On Sunday afternoon, Stations 31 and 32 were dispatched for a building fire at the Hunter Hill Apartments on Eigth Street.  Bridgeport "5" arrived on scene and reported the fire was out and there was  a light smoke condition on the first floor.  Engine 32 was first in and instructed to place a fan in service.

The company would like to congratulate Chief Mike Gallagher Sr. on his election to Bridgeport's Borough Council.

Company Vice President, Bob "Gump" Rath, had his son's motorized fire truck cumstomized to match our apparatus down to the exact paint code and graphics.  Very cool!

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we must cancel the last night of our haunted house on Friday,  October 30th.  We sincerely appreciate everyone who came out this halloween season and look forward to scaring you again next year!
