Welcome to the Official site of Star Wars: The Other! Updates will be posted as often as possible. SW: TO is a Fanon Star Wars project started by one 14 year old in New York that eventually expanded into a huge Fan Series. The SW: TO project will come out March 5, 2009. It takes place before, during, and after the movies, going along with all of the Canon sources. This project is currently maintained by two people, but is on its way. The development of the series is running very smoothly. Some work has been done on the comic including cover art for issue one, concept art
for Vezz E. Zaranoth, (see above picture) and the first page of the first issue. There is a book being written, sort
of a "Darth Bane" style, but with a twist and starring mainly Vezz Esaro Zaranoth. The book will be called Star Wars The Other: Quest of Darkness. See the Novel section for more info. Also, a preview of the comic, to be released June 2008, entitled "Star Wars The Other: The Prequel" will have 5 short stories about various characters.Troy Hillman was waiting for a question he asked Leeland Y. Chee at the Star Wars Message Boards on the official site. (www.starwars.com) He asked
for the permission to have his Fanon project, and wanted to authorize it by George Lucas himself. Mr. Chee was given the
link for the page, and although Mr. Chee did not give permission, but he said to go ahead with the project anyway. To make clear, we do not
wish to make money, and now the official SW: TO site is launched, and in 2009 the
issues will be put online. Until then, we wait.

Hello again! On August 4, 2007, I stated that the name of the 32 chapter novel for the Star Wars: The Other series will be called Star Wars The Other: Quest for Darkness. So far only 4 Chapters have been written but I already have the story for the entire novel, now I just have to put it all into words. For two months now there have been rumors of a PC game for Star Wars: The Other. Yesterday, Troy posted a picture on his blog confirming that there would be a PC game. He deleted the blog today because he said that he would officially announce the news on August 30th. He also said that this picture was just a teaser, and while he likes sprites, the game will probably NOT be a sprite game. It will be a normal Star Wars game, with at least four different endings, only one canon (or in this case the actual fanon) ending, and will probably feature several familiar characters. In the picture, there is a cloaked figure and below another figure, except you can see the seconds eyes. Troy stated that this 3D game will be released in September 2008 and a sprite game MAY (he said MAY) follow. Thanks, All your friends here at Hyperspace Comix
