For the past 71 years, there was a hero that flew around in blue & red tights, fighting crime under the name of Superman. Coming next year, Kal-El's journey in this world is over as another one begins. Kal-El will face many challenges that he has faced before. This is a retelling of Clark Kent's journey to become Superman, with tie-ins to Smallville, the cartoons, and the films, tying all continuity together in a non-canon fan project. Around February, we plan on planning the story and scripting it onto paper, and the project will just branch out from there. The artist may be Troy Hillman, one of our founders who is a writer and artist, and another may be Dustin Mendell, both hailing from western New York. In a recent meeting about the new project, we decided that this would be our main focus until we can hire more writers and artists, closing the Lord of the Rings and the Star Wars Projects. Concept Art will be up on the site by Christmas, and there is a major announcement about the series expected around New Year's Eve.
Some ideas that are being thrown around are about certain story-lines such as basing one storyline on the 80s story where Doomsday killed and the 2007 movie based on the comic mini-series where Superman also dies, but comes back to life. In our first few issues, we have flashbacks about Superman dying, but not coming back. There will be a tie-in with the CW series, Legion of Superheroes, as Kell-El aka Superman X will be the main star of our first few storylines and then there will be a twist involving Jor-El and Nim-El, in his first actual appearance. We have a planned story arc where all of Kal-El's ancestors and living relatives come together in a story-arc called "Reunion." Another Arc is all about what Superman's life is about when he is never sent off to Earth, Krypton is still there as of 2008, and General Zod rules with his "partner" Zor-El, having Jor-El as a Servant, Lara as Zor-El's slave woman, and Kal-El as a hermit, but what happens when the Kryptonian Sun is yellow and a human from Earth comes from an alternate universe and tell Superman, who is hiding in a cave, and tells him that he is a hero in the other universe. All this and more coming next year, and look for more updates on this exciting project in the coming weeks. Thanks! ~All the Employees at Hyperspace Comics~

Hello everyone. We apologize for not updating since November. We have been EXTREMELY busy with other things. The big announcement is that we have come up with a storyline. Clark Kent aka Kal-El, has just been unfrozen (tying in with the Jan. 31 episode of SMALLVILLE), and after taking care of Brainiac and Bizarro for the time being, a man named Kor-El comes to Smallville claiming to be Clark's BROTHER. We flash years later, taking place after Superman Returns. Superman goes to NEW KRYPTON and finds that the kryponite is gone and replaced by a full-sized planet. Kor-El and Kal-El get Kandor from the Fortress and after getting Brainiac tech, they resize the city on New Kandor. To good to be true? Back in Smallville years before, Kor-El says that he dropped of a bottled Kandor city of Kryptonians at the Fortress, but he was followed. Doomsday is there.
We'll update soon./ G2g.
