Commander Charles Tucker III (Trip)
Commander Charles Tucker III (Also known as Trip) Is the chief engineer of Enterprise and is also 3rd in command. He's in his early 30's He apparently taught the captain how to dive. He and Captain Archer have been friends for 8 years and remain good friends throughout Enterprise. Some say they have a brotherly relationship, some say that Archer is Trip's mentor and some see them as best friends. He has a sarcastic humour. he also (at first) doesn't really have much experience with aliens and their cultures (don't most of them though?) as is shown in Unexpected (great episode by the way, if you haven't seen it already then I would advice you too)
When Enterprise first started Trip had been a memeber of starfleet for 12 years.
Trip is played by Connor Trineer, who is a brilliant (good looking, smart, the list can go on) actor.
Captain Jonathan Archer.
Captain Jonathan Archer is the captain of the star ship Enterprise, which his farther Henry Archer helped to build. Archer is bold and adventuress, and will disobey commands if he has one of those gut feelings (probably ate his dinner too fast) He has a strong friendship with Commander Tucker, they have been friends for a number of years. Archers friendship for Trip is clearly seen in Dessert Crossing (Another good episode in my opinion). Archer at first holds a grudge against the Vulcans, but has to change his ways when T'pol (a vulcan) becomes their science officer. Gradually he becomes friends with her and learns to trust the vulcans.
Jonathan Archer is played by Scott Bakular, who is well known for his role as Sam becket in Qyantum leap (see other roles or more detail, not much more though, so don't get your hopes up)
T'pol
T'pol is the science officer on Enterprise and is 2nd in command. She is not however a human, but a vulcan. At first T'pol was only assigned to Enterprise for 8 days to monitor them, (look over their shoulders) by the vulcan high command. But she stayed on Enterprise, as she was asked to by Captain Jonathan Archer, and she also agreed. At forst the relationship between T'pol and Archer, and anyone else at that matter was very thin in fact, almost non-existent, but the more time they spent together the more they got along and end up good friends. In fact in series four T'pol has a proper relationship with Trip. (Commander Charles Tucker III)
T'pol is played by Jolene Blalock.
Lt. Malcom Reed.
Lt. Reed is Chief secutiry, tactical and is the forth officer on Enterprise. He broke his family tradition of working in the navy to work on the Star Ship Enterprise. It is his job to train the security team on enterprise..do the weapons ect ect. He satrted of a bit up tight and as we find out in the epsiode Silent Enemy hedidn't fn it easy to get close to people, even his own family. However, he seesm to become close to the crew, and becomes good frineds with Trip after being stranded in a shuttle pod with him for days, although they spend most of that time biting each other's heads off, they actually get to know each other. (episode shuttle pod one.) He is British. The actor of cause is Briaish, in fact, he comes from leicester, which is only about 10 miles from here (big grin) although his accent doesn't actually sound anything like Leicester's! (that's my opinion anyway.)
Reed is played by (drum roll please) Dominic Keating!
Hoshi
Hoshi is the communications officer on Enterprise and knows up to about 40 languages! She was very jittery to start with which can be seen in flight or fight but she soon grows fond of working on Enterprise. Her courage is seen in the final epsiode of season 3 Count down. She actually got kicked out of Star fleet and (as a stunned Trip is told in the observer effect,) she broke her Commander's arm over a game of poker! Before joining Enterprise, she tought languages at a university.
Hoshi Sato is played by Linda Park.
