Amospheric Show Next we had solo singer Alex from his solo project "Alexiatt Crow" he was very calming to listen to, he played a few covers as well as treating the audience to his own song "Start To Finish" was really amazing. The crowd where really alive even though it was very limited venue with only up to 30 or so people. The audience where then treated to a few covers by the venue's host himself Craig personally one of my friends favourites. Next we had the most well known solo project in Lisburn well loved by everyone Aaron Shanley aka. The Drama Escort, he played us alot of his own songs, cracked a few werid but funny jokes he certainly entertained, we also got a treat as Angels Fall First frontman Steve sung with Aaron to one of his songs, sure made my night! I was also pleased as Aaron played my favourite song ILCBB, as he said his "electronica but not electronica song" as he was only able to play it via acoustic. Overall a very joyful evening had by all, welldone to everyone who played you where all amazing, Remeber to drop me an email or guestbook signing when any of you have more gigs =] (Photos & Videos in Media Section) 27th March 2007 (Music Matters)
An Explosion Of A Night Next to parade onto the Music Matters stage was a new band which I hadn't heard of "The Volt" they where definatly something fresh on the rip. Vocals where extremly clear, and with the use of a keyboard (which is very rare nowadays) definatly recommend them, they are very fresh and sound amazing. Following that amazing act was " Oh So Pretty " , which I extremly appologise I actually left at this part as the only downside to the evening was the heat of the place, had to go out for some fresh air :] , but I heard the first song, very good live. eep. Then last.. but definalty not least was the band I came for "Just" love these guys to pieces.. Starlites own home band, I guess you could say. Amazing live, Thomas' vocals where amazing, and guitar solos to.. they are playing on the 13th of April as inspiration cafe. A must see in my books, an overall amazing night, Thanks to everyone who played! And thanks to Music Matters! - written by Nicole. P.s.
