The Benfleet Starlight Twirlers started up back in February this year.
They currently have 24 members aged 4 - 14 years old. We are proud to be members of the A.B.T.U.K Twirling association.
The Team take part in Displays, shows and competitions.
They are taught by A.B.T.U.K qualified judge and teacher Lisa Johnson who is also the troupe director.
She is helped out by assistant teachers Joanna Bachrach, who has twirled since a very young age and has taught for many years. And Karen Huntley, who twirled at a young age for Newham, and has had experience teaching at West Ham Hammerettes.
All teachers are C.R.B cleared.
We are members of The A.B.T.U.K Twirling Association.
